This is a tour that introduces guests to the best wild life sanctuaries in Sri Lanka as well as including fascinating adventures like a nature trail, a forest trek and a bullock cart ride, Tea train ride in hill country. concluding with a couple of relaxing day on the beach by the Indian Ocean. This journey of discovery begins with a drive northwards along the west coast to the seldom-visited Wilpattu National Park for two nights, then south to the Centre of the Cultural Triangle with an opportunity to visit another Minneriya, yala National Parks. There’s an arranged encounter with Local and a night in the old capital of the medieval kingdom of Kandy with its Temple of the Tooth and grand Edwardian buildings. The town of Nuwara Eliya still retains much of its British colonial charm that has earned it the nickname Little England. Nestled 2,000 metres above sea level it is one of the coldest regions of Sri Lanka with an annual average temperature of 15 degrees Celsius. Relax inside a colonial home and drink tea considered to be the best in the world. For the adventurous a trek through Horton Plains and Worlds End is a rewarding encounter with nature. Another exiting place among the tourist is senic Ella. The town of Nuwara Eliya still retains much of its British colonial charm that has earned it the nickname Little England. DAY 02 – Negombo – Wilpattu
Overnight stay in Big Game Camp
Leave Negombo and transfer to Wilpattu National Park. The Wilpattu National Park recently opened after a closure of over 20 years. The wilderness is pristine and remains undisturbed. Meet the camp crew and settle down at your campsite which is located at the border of the National Park.

DAY 04 – Wilpattu – Habarana
Overnight stay in Habarana village hotel
Morning proceed to SIGIRIYA ROCK FORTRESS.SIgiriya fortress is situated in North Central province belonging to the cultural triangle in the dry lowland of Sri Lanka. Climb the 5th century AD fortress place built by King kashyapa .But suspected to have been in use by mahayana Buddhists for many centuries previously. The rock is an inselberg, which dominates the landscape and was both a military refuge as well as an aesthetic refuge for king who was a patron of the arts. The frescoes of the bare breasted heavenly maidens , which remain are a fragment of band, which may have held over 500 figures. In Arthur C Clarke’s science fiction novel,” The foundation of Paradise” the king had the architect blinded so that he could not construct another heaven on earth. There after take part in the Hiriwaduna Trek. This trek allows you to understand village life as well as experience a bullock cart ride and even a catamaran boat ride. Also you can experience sri Lankan authenticate foods demonstration. You can either spend the afternoon relaxing or embark on an exciting safari at Minneriya National Park.

DAY 05 -Habarana- Kandy
Overnight stay in Amaya Hills
After a leisurely breakfast, leave for Kandy.
On the way, visit dumbulla cave Temple. Dumbulal is famous for its Rock painting and rock temples and is one of the most important sites for Buddhist pilgrimage. The caves in a rock that rises 110 m above the surrounding planes. Geologically it was formed by a combination of two Rock outcrops or Inselberg , each of domical shape. The cave temple with the paintings and statues are about halfway to the top of the hill. The caves are along the joint between a rock plateau and rock wall. A
white brick verandha extends out from the Rock overhang, adding a walkway outside the caves .

DAY 06 – Kandy
Overnight stay in Amaya Hills
The second commercial city in Sri Lanka lies at this centre of the Kandy plateau an area of beautiful tropical tea plantations. A magnificent must see feature of the area is Kandy lake, to the north of which lies the golden roofed temple of the tooth (a UNESCO world heritage site and important place for Buddhist worship, as it is said to house a tooth relic of Buddha).

DAY 07 – Kandy – Nuwara Eliya
Overnight stay in Jetwing St Andrews
After breakfast to Nuwara Eliya, enjoy a sightseeing tour together with a visit to a Tea Factory/ Plantation where you can experience firsthand the art of plucking and making tea. Talk to the friendly locals and enjoy a warm cup of tea in the cool climate. Head back to your hotel and relax or enjoy the gorgeous scenery of the hills with a short walk at your leisure.

DAY 08 – Nuwara Eliya – Ella
Overnight stay in 98 aces
An early morning rise to visit the worlds end. An exhilarating experience which takes you through few of the most scenic yet challenging routes. Afterwards, hop on board a scenic rail journey and walk through the pine forests to meet with locals and enjoy the delicacies to slow down time and to immerse in the true spirit of being Sri Lankan.

DAY 09 – Ella – Yala
Overnight stay in Jetwing Yala
Leave after breakfast for Yala National Park. Arrive at the campsite located inside the Yala National Park in time for lunch. Popular for its Elephant and Leopard sightings, catch a glimpse of these creatures roaming the wild.
Take an evening game drive of Yala National Park to track the Sri Lanka Leopard, Elephant, Sloth Bear and many other exciting species of wildlife.

DAY 10 – Yala
Overnight stay in Wild Trails
Set off once again and enjoy morning and evening game drives at the Yala National Park. This is an ideal opportunity to observe all the animals you might have missed during the previous day, as each day is different from the other.

DAY 11 – Yala – Hikkaduwa
Overnight stay in Citrus Hikkaduwa
After your final morning game drive, you will leave Yala and journey to Hikkaduwa. On the way to Hikkaduwa visit coconut tree hill , Mirissa beech , stilt fishing Tertle beech and Galle, Arrive at your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure relaxing by the beautiful beach. Grab a drink as you sit down on the soft sand while you watch the sun set.

DAY 12 – Hikkaduwa
Overnight stay in Citrus Hikkaduwa
Spend the whole day at the beach. Catch some sun or take a walk along the shore line as you’re surrounded by the sights and sounds of tropical paradise.OPTIONAL ; Madu river visit, Water sport , Whales watching or surfing.

DAY 13 – Hikkaduwa – Airport

After breakfast proceed to the Airport in time for the connecting flight.

Lellama fish market nigombo
Lellama Fish Market in Negombo, Sri Lanka, is one of the largest and busiest fish markets in the country. Sigiriya
Sigiriya, also known as the Lion Rock, is an ancient rock fortress located in the central Matale District of Sri Lanka. Rising nearly 200 meters, the massive rock formation was once the site of King Kashyapa’s royal palace in the 5th century. The fortress is renowned for its stunning frescoes, beautiful gardens, and the Mirror Wall, which still bears ancient inscriptions.
Sigiriya is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its advanced architectural and engineering feats. Visitors can climb the rock via a series of stairways to reach the summit, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Dambulla Cave Temple
Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Sri Lanka’s most significant religious landmarks. Located in central Sri Lanka, it consists of five caves filled with stunning Buddha statues, murals, and religious art, dating back over 2,000 years. The temple complex is situated atop a rock 160 meters above the surrounding plains.
The cave walls and ceilings are adorned with intricate paintings depicting scenes from Buddha’s life, as well as images of kings and deities. Kandy

Nine Arch Bridge
